Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one victories have been earned on hard courts
A resurgent Medvedev claimed his first trophy for 882 days with victory over opponent Moutet in the competition final.
The athlete, a ex- top-ranked player, has had a torrid season, winning just one match at the major tournaments and experiencing a difficult moment at the New York tournament.
Medvedev's varied form on the tennis tour - and issues with his serving in particular - resulted in him falling of the top ten and ultimately splitting with former coach his previous coach.
Currently training with his coach and Goetzke, Medvedev has gradually improved in the past month - culminating in a closely contested competitive win over challenger Corentin Moutet.
It is the player's maiden trophy since the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hard court since March of that year.
Success also means Medvedev has won 21 championships at 21 different events.
"It's the first time I am participating in a tournament with my children together, so to win a trophy is particularly special," stated ranked player Medvedev.
"This victory is in dedication of my younger daughter my daughter, because the first title I achieved when my older daughter Alisa was born was for her."
The athlete, the past champion, had been defeated in his last six title deciders, featuring in Halle earlier this year.
His retrieving play style and recurring emotional displays on the tennis court had led commentators to doubt if his ability to play at the highest level was over.
Yet the 29-year-old has altered his approach in the past month, attempting to advance forward and compete positively, supported by an improved service.
He came back from a disadvantage in the initial set against the difficult opponent, taking 4 of the final five games to go ahead.
The pair traded breaks in the following set before Moutet, bidding for his first professional victory, seized the initiative to force a decider.
He saved four early chances in a close deciding set before the Russian won the break to fifteen to secure the win.
Suitably, Medvedev earned the win with a rally at the net, with his opponent unable to control a return after over two and a half hours.
